This new version takes almost the same characteristics as the old model, the Brother CS7000X, but with a new design and some improvements. We are therefore always faced with a small electronic sewing machine, with a simple but effective operation. This model particularly caught our attention because we were very curious to know what an electronic machine offered at such a low price could offer in terms of quality. The sewing machine is suitable for seamstresses who are looking for an electronic sewing machine but have a rather tight budget. Thanks to its very good value for money, this machine will allow you to carry out a lot of different sewing work without emptying your wallet. The winding of the thread and the start-up can be done without the user manual because Brother has placed descriptive images on Brother CS7000X sewing machines to facilitate the first use. It’s well thought out and we appreciate this kind of small detail. The path of the thread is well marked by numbers so that even a beginner can easily find his way around it. A threading aid is also present which makes the operation really very simple. The can is inserted horizontally on this sewing machine and is under a transparent skid plate. The 40 points are selectable using two small “+” and “-” buttons located next to the screen and the selected point is of course displayed on the screen, so you always know which program you are using. The point length and width are preset for each point. But do not panic, if you want to change these values, you have other “+” and “-” keys to make the setting that suits you best. Speaking of the screen, as on the old model, this one is small (too much?) and not illuminated. We would have appreciated that for its new version, Brother thinks of installing an illuminated display. On the other hand, the worktop hasLED lighting that is really effective. Regarding the tension of the wire, the adjustment is made via a small wheel that offers positions from 1 to 6 arranged at the front of the Brother CS7000X machine. Finally, the machine has an inverted sewing button.
