However, these savings mean some sacrifices, including omitting the automatic double-sided printing automatic document feeder (ADF) and more stable paper capacity, as well as the ability to scan, copy, and fax (not just print) tabloid-sized pages. However, not all small working groups require these features, making the printer a reliable and inexpensive alternative. The Brother MFC-J6545DW has an input paper capacity of 350 sheets, divided into the 250-page feed box mentioned earlier and a 100-page multifunction tray pulled from the back of the printer. Like all Brother Business Intelligence and Business Smart Plus AIO, the printer has a maximum monthly space ratio of 30,000 pages, with a recommended monthly print volume of 2,000 pages. Brother offers several large-scale business intelligence (and business intelligence Plus) AIO with different paper capacities, capacity rating, and functionality. Enhanced wide-format documentation support makes the printer more versatile and therefore more suitable for a broader business scenario, but also makes machines larger, heavier, and more expensive. And, like most other business-oriented AIOes today, you can use AIO’s built-in website to configure security, monitor consumables, generate and view reports, and more. You can connect to Brother MFC-J6545DW wirelessly via 802.11 b / g / n, Ethernet wired, or directly to a single PC with USB 2.0. Wi-Fi Direct is a recourse wireless network protocol that connects your mobile devices to the printer without connecting them to the printer or as part of the network, but you won’t get the near-field touch printing features. In addition to Wi-Fi Direct, other mobile connectivity options include Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria Mobile Printing Services, and Brother’s own iPrint and Scan. The last to offer access to Brother’s cloud applications include Office Print, Scan to Office, Cloud Secure Print, and Easy Scan to E-mail, as well as Toybox, Dropbox, Evernote, Google’s Commercial and Personal Drives, OneDrive and OneNote. And if all of these connectivity options aren’t enough, you can also scan or print from the USB thumb drive to the USB thumb drive via a port located on the left side of the chassis next to the control panel.
